Prof. César Bastos, Master in Informatics at UFRJ and doctoral candidate in Information Systems at UNIRIO, works as a professor at Fundação CECIERJ in teacher training subjects, CEJA facilitator, private and public network in Rio de Janeiro. He develops projects with teaching robotics in teacher training and in the public network in RJ using active methodologies through the construction of artifacts with constructionist teaching proposals. Prof. Dr. Flávio Tonidandel, Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1996), Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Poli-USP (2003). He is currently a full-time professor at Centro Universitário FEI and coordinates the Robot Engineering Course at the same institution. He has extensive experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Since 2003 he participates and coordinates the ROBOFEI robotics research group. Passionate about mobile and intelligent robotics, he is a member of the Superior Council of OBR, an event of which he was National Coordinator in 2013 and 2014. He coordinated the Special Robotics Commission (CER) of the Brazilian Computer Society between 2010 and 2014; He was Co-General Chair of RoboCup 2014 in Brazil; Member of the Latin American Robotics Committee of IEEE-RAS; Member of the Trustees of the RoboCup Federation (2018-2022); Organized and coordinated several symposia, congresses and scientific competitions in robotics across the country. He works mainly in the following areas: Action Planning, Case-Based Reasoning, Smart Home Automation, Intelligent Human-Robot Interaction and Autonomous Mobile Robots. He has been working with new active teaching methodologies for over 10 years involving robotics and new educational technologies.
